This Mallayer antique rug measures 7' 0" x 15' 3" and presents a quietly architectural composition softened by age. A long ivory field is framed by restrained floral borders and layered with blue geometric reserves that hold faded blossoms, stepped outlines, and delicate vine work. The central medallion sequence creates a measured rhythm along the length, while the worn surface lends a chalky, timeworn softness to the wool.
