This Tabriz antique rug measures 6' 6" x 10' 5" and presents a finely balanced field of ivory, celadon, soft grey, and muted gold, gathered around a formal medallion and layered with small floral sprays. The border framework brings structure without overwhelming the open, luminous ground, while navy accents lend definition to the pattern. Wool gives the surface a supple, grounded character, and the visible wear softens the palette into a calm, timeworn register. Circa 1920 - 1935, it carries the quiet complexity and refined ornament associated with Tabriz weaving.
