This Yazd antique rug measures 9' 2" x 13' 4" and presents a softly faded field of floral ornament, framed by layered borders and a restrained medallion at centre. The palette moves through dusty blue, ivory, muted rose, sage, and burgundy, with wear that has gently blurred the pattern into a calm, lived-in surface. Its high distress gives the design a washed, painterly character, while the surrounding border still carries enough definition to anchor the composition.
