This Khotan antique rug measures 3' 4" x 7' 0" and carries the quiet balance associated with early 20th-century weaving. A warm golden field frames a long central panel, where floral urns, scrolling corners, and crisp dark outlines create a measured, graphic rhythm. The surrounding border of small round floral motifs softens the composition with a lighter, more decorative cadence. In wool with medium distress, the surface shows mellow fading, tonal variation, and a well-loved hand. Circa 1925 - 1950, it reads as both structured and weathered, with a palette that leans into peach, lavender, ivory, and aged gold.
