This Bibikabad antique rug measures 11' 8" x 17' 4" and presents a richly layered allover floral lattice in deep navy, cream, rust, and faded pink. The field is visibly worn, with broad areas of abrash and fading that soften the pattern into a painterly surface. A narrow border in warmer earth tones frames the composition and keeps the design grounded. The overall effect is atmospheric and textural, with the decorative repeat still readable beneath the patina. Circa 1925 - 1955, it carries the quiet depth and lived-in character that define a well-aged Bibikabad.
