This Kysari antique rug measures 4' 6" x 6' 4" and presents a quietly layered field of garden and landscape imagery beneath a refined floral border. Woven in silk, the surface has a luminous, softened hand, with neutral ivory and cream tones lifted by faded green, grey, and traces of pink. The composition feels balanced yet timeworn, with fine linear drawing that has gently blurred into the ground. Circa 1880 - 1910, it carries a calm, collected presence, with medium wear that adds to its depth and character without overwhelming the design.
