This Kysari antique rug measures 4' 1" x 6' 1", with a restrained central field framed by richly patterned borders and an architectural prayer-arch composition. Wool brings a soft, lived-in hand, while the palette of neutral, red, white, and cream is tempered by age into earthy red-brown and muted grey notes. Repeating floral and geometric motifs create a balanced rhythm around the open centre, where the design feels both formal and quietly worn. Circa 1885 - 1900, it carries medium distress, with gentle fading and characterful edge wear that underscore its antique presence.
