This Bibikabad antique rug offers a layered field of geometric repeat and softly handled floral framing in wool. The palette moves through brown, taupe, ivory, faded blue, and charcoal, with a weathered surface that lets the pattern breathe in and out of focus. An outer border of stylised blossoms and scrolling details encloses the more architectural centre, where repeated motifs settle into a calm rhythm. Circa 1900 - 1930, this piece carries medium distress with visible fading and tonal variation. It measures 11' 2" x 17' 3", bringing scale and a restrained, timeworn presence.
