This Tabriz antique rug, measuring 9' 10" x 12' 7", presents a vivid field of pink softened by cream, white, and restrained blue-green accents. An all-over floral lattice organizes the composition, while palmettes and blossoms repeat with a balanced, tailored rhythm. Multiple borders, including a floral outer band and a finer inner guard, frame the design with clarity. The wool pile shows low distress and a gently worn hand that lends depth to the surface. Circa 1900 - 1915, it carries the refined ornament and considered colour movement associated with Tabriz weaving.
