This Tabriz antique rug measures 10' 6" x 12' 10" and presents a softly faded field of scrolling floral motifs in warm orange, cream, and pale blue. The composition is richly patterned yet hushed by age, with a border that still reads clearly against the weathered centre. Woven in wool, it carries the layered, timeworn character that gives a room visual depth without heaviness. Circa 1950 - 1965, the rug balances ornament and restraint, with medium distress lending surface variation and a grounded, collected feel throughout. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
