This Mallayer antique rug measures 3' 3" x 13' 6" and presents a long, narrow format animated by a richly layered central field, floral vine side borders, and crisp guard bands. The palette shifts between brick red, rust, ivory, taupe, charcoal, and muted orange, with the pattern softened by age and gentle wear. Repeating geometric motifs and small medallion forms create rhythm from end to end, while the fringed edges reinforce its lived-in presence. Circa 1900 - 1925, it carries the grounded warmth and visual complexity that distinguish a well-aged Mallayer.
