This Mallayer antique rug measures 3' 5" x 16' 1" and presents an elongated field of layered floral and geometric motifs within a narrow, patterned border. Wool texture and an age-softened surface give the design a quiet, weathered depth, where cream and faded aqua sit alongside muted coral, rust, and brown. The composition feels finely worked yet restrained, with decorative detail carried down the length of the piece in a rhythm that remains legible despite the wear. Circa 1910 - 1930, it has the patina and softened contrast that define a lived-in antique rug.
