This Tabriz antique rug measures 14' 11" x 23' 4" and presents a layered all-over floral design in navy, blue, cream, and softened ivory tones. The field is closely patterned, with scrolling vine forms and medallion-like repeats framed by a detailed floral border. Areas of fading and abrasion have mellowed the palette, giving the surface a quietly aged character and a lived-in depth. Woven in wool, it carries the balance and refinement associated with the Tabriz tradition. Circa 1920 - 1935, it reads as both formal and gently weathered. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
