This vintage Tulu measures 4' 3" x 5' 0" and presents a warm, graphic field of saturated red softened by age. Circa 1955 - 1970, its design is built from ivory linear borders that step and turn into a quietly rhythmic grid, with small abstract figure-like motifs anchored along the central axis. The high-pile surface shows visible variation in texture, gentle fading, and a lived-in character that gives the composition depth. Its proportions and palette make it easy to place as a statement piece with natural warmth and a distinctly tactile presence. This vintage rug retains a considered, tactile character.
