An elongated central medallion unfolds within a field of geometric and floral detail, while the narrow border system adds structure without overpowering the composition. The palette moves through neutral, brown, cream, faded rose, and muted blue, creating a layered and grounded effect. Visible fading and medium distress soften the pattern beautifully, giving the surface a patinated, lived-in character. Circa 1885 - 1900.
