This Mallayer antique rug measures 3' 3" x 10' 10" and carries a long, painterly presence in faded blue, cream, and soft rust. The central field is filled with a repeating geometric lattice, while the surrounding borders resolve into floral vines and stylised blossoms, giving the composition both rhythm and restraint. Its low distress shows in the softened palette, gentle wear, and timeworn edge character.
