This Hamadan antique rug measures 2' 6" x 15' 10", with a long, restrained profile and a dark ground that lets the ivory and muted rose motifs stand forward. Repeating floral medallions run in steady rhythm down the centre, framed by angular lozenge forms and a narrow floral border in brown, cream, white, and softened green accents. The surface shows low distress, with gentle wear and luminous fading that give the composition a quietly weathered depth. Circa 1925 - 1945, it carries the familiar balance of a Hamadan design with a grounded, time-softened presence.
