This Mallayer antique rug measures 5' 3" x 12' 4" and presents a long, luminous field of layered floral and geometric motifs softened by age. The blue centre reads through a washed ground of ivory, cream, brown, and rust, while the border remains legible in a narrow, timeworn frame. Its surface shows medium distress, with faded passages and visible wear that lend it an understated, collected presence.
