This Kurd antique rug measures 3' 5" x 6' 3" and presents a restrained yet richly layered field of geometric boteh-like forms in dusty rose over a dark ground. Narrow borders in olive, cream, and muted blue frame the composition, while the outer guard borders carry small-scale tribal motifs and crisp X shapes. The surface shows low distress, with softened colour, light abrash, and worn edges that speak to age without diminishing its structure. Circa 1900 - 1930, it reads as a woven record of pattern, rhythm, and lived-in texture.
