This Mallayer antique rug measures 15' 1" x 22' 3" and presents an allover geometric field softened by time. Repeating rosettes and interlocking lattice forms move across a deep, muted ground, while the border carries restrained red accents that frame the composition with quiet precision. The palette settles into brown, cream, white, and neutral tones, with traces of soft teal and faded red lending depth. Its medium distress gives the surface a layered, lived-in quality, with worn passages and abrash that enhance the rug's weathered rhythm.
