This Mallayer antique rug measures 6' 9" x 15' 11" and carries a beautifully worn, time-softened presence. An allover floral field unfolds beneath a faded surface, while the border structure remains legible in narrow bands of rust, ivory, and muted brown. The palette settles into teal, cocoa, and chalky neutral tones, with abrash and wash lending depth across the length. Its medium distress gives the piece a quietly layered character, balancing pattern and patina in a way that feels grounded and textural. Circa 1920 - 1940.
