This Mallayer antique rug measures 3' 1" x 11' 9", with a long, narrow format and a softly worn presence that feels collected over time. The field carries faded floral ornament in muted teal against layers of white, cream, and brown, while the border remains most legible along the edges, especially at the side and lower end. High distress has softened the pattern into a luminous, timeworn surface, giving the piece a quiet depth. Circa 1900 - 1915, it reflects the restrained elegance and weathered character often associated with Mallayer weaving.
