This Mallayer antique rug measures 3' 3" x 16' 4" and presents a long, narrow format with a time-softened geometric field. Cream and ivory ground tones are lifted by faded teal and muted sage, while brown outlines keep the pattern legible. Stepped medallions, small floral details, and a layered border create a measured rhythm from end to end. The surface shows medium wear, with visible fading and abrasion that soften the design rather than obscure it. Circa 1915 - 1940, it carries the quiet depth and lived-in character that define a well-aged Mallayer.
