This Mallayer antique rug measures 3' 2" x 9' 7" and presents a narrow, elongated composition with a dark blue-grey field, six stacked medallions, and a finely patterned border in brown, red, and neutral tones. The design reads with clarity despite visible wear, which has softened the surface and deepened the aged character of the palette. Small star motifs and geometric accents lend balance between the central column and the surrounding frame.
