This Mallayer antique rug, measuring 3' 5" x 13' 2", carries a softly worn field of neutral beige, brown, cream, and muted blue-grey. The composition is anchored by a faded central medallion, with a quiet border and delicate traces of floral and geometric ornament lingering at the edges. High distress has softened the drawing throughout, creating an atmospheric, timeworn surface with visible abrasion and washed tonal variation.
