This Mallayer antique rug measures 4' 2" x 5' 11" and carries a softly faded allover field of floral motifs within a narrow geometric border. The cream, white, brown, and muted taupe palette has been gently washed down by age, leaving the drawing atmospheric and low contrast. Its high distress level adds visible character, with broad wear across the surface, softened edges, and a quietly timeworn hand.
