This Mallayer antique rug measures 3' 2" x 17' 3" and carries a long, refined presence in a warm neutral and brown field touched with gold and muted aqua. Its surface is softened by medium wear, with layered abrasion that lets the intricate all-over floral geometry breathe through the age. A slender border frames the composition, while the elongated format and repeated motifs create a measured rhythm from end to end.
