This Tabriz antique rug measures 3' 5" x 16' 8" and presents a long, graceful field of faded floral ornament in cream, beige, taupe, and muted blue-green. The design reads as an allover arrangement of rosettes and palmettes, framed by a narrow scrolling border and softened by time. Areas of heavier wear and gentle tonal shifts give the surface a lived-in, layered presence without disturbing its refined symmetry. Circa 1910 - 1925, it carries the quiet patina and compositional discipline associated with Tabriz weaving, where detail and restraint meet in a measured, elegant rhythm.
