This Dorokhsh antique rug measures 9' 4" x 13' 1" and presents an allover floral composition softened by age and use. A cool sky-blue field is scattered with cream, ivory, muted green, and taupe blossoms, while the narrow border frames the design with dark floral notes and scrolling vines. The surface shows substantial fading and worn white passages that temper the pattern and give the piece a calm, weathered presence. Circa 1900 - 1915, it carries the layered character of a collected interior textile with visual depth and restraint. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
