A Mahal Ziegler in wool, rendered in a warm neutral ground set against red and brown accents and a restrained blue wash. The composition centers on elongated diamond medallions that step through an all-over floral field, contained by a repeating floral border. The surface shows low distress, a soft patina and subtle abrash that smooths the contrast between colours while preserving crisp motif definition. Texturally tactile and quietly aged, this antique rug reads as both pattern and layered surface, measured at 8' 3" x 11' 7". Circa 1910 - 1930
