A Gharabah of warm, tempered tones and calm proportion. The wool field reads a mellow gold, centered by an ivory medallion and punctuated by small bird and floral sprays; a rose border frames the composition with repeating floral cartouches. The surface shows low, even wear and a gentle abrash that gives the colours a softened, timeworn presence. Tactile and quietly refined, this antique rug retains clarity in its motifs while feeling familiarly aged underfoot. Circa 1885 - 1900. Measures 7' 4" x 15' 5" and speaks to measured craft and a considered, heritage palette.
