This Oushak is a generous wool field, sized 10' 7" x 15' 2". A pale neutral ground hosts staggered medallions and small floral devices in muted red, gold and soft green, the motifs softened by painterly abrash. A wide salmon-rose main border with angular arabesques frames the centre, offering a warm counterpoint to the cream field. Wear is low and the surface reads as a time-earned patina; edges remain sound with minimal disturbance. The hand-sensed texture and restrained palette give this antique rug a quiet, heritage-driven presence. Circa 1895 - 1925
