Indo-Kashan spreads a warm, neutral-gold field across an expansive 17' 10" x 28' 10". A dense floral allover of palmettes and vine scroll reads as an armature beneath layered, softened highlights; a darker foliate border frames the composition. The wool shows tasteful, medium distress with abrash and localized wear that reveal a tactile surface and lived patina. Motifs resolve close up yet read as a unified field at distance, giving the piece a measured presence. This antique rug retains a heritage sensibility and quiet colour depth. Circa 1945 - 1960
