An expansive Kerman in a softened neutral palette, this large wool field presents a pale grey medallion framed by ivory and cream reserves. Intricate floral and vine borders remain visible beneath broad areas of abrash; the surface shows extensive wear and a low, time-softened sheen. High distress has mellowed the original contrasts, producing a restrained interplay of cream, beige and warm taupe that reads quietly architectural. This antique rug is offered in-house at the original dimensions 12' 9" x 23' 9". Circa 1900 - 1920. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
