This Kerman presents an airy, allover floral arabesque worked in soft neutrals and faded blues. The wool field reads like a faded tapestry of palmettes, scrolling vinework and small rosette motifs, the borders echoing with a restrained floral meander. Surface wear and medium distress have softened the original contrasts, producing warm cream and ivories with blue accents and gentle abrash across the field. The piece retains a quiet, tactile presence and legible pattern despite age. Circa 1885 - 1915. 8' 7" x 11' 7".
