A serene Khotan defined by a pale, neutral field and a warm cream and brown lexicon. A restrained round medallion anchors the composition, while geometric corner lozenges and small scattered floral motifs give the surface quiet rhythm. The narrow floral border frames the whole with a measured flourish. Wool pile is softly mellowed with low distress, lending the piece a tactile, heritage-worn presence. This antique rug reads as both gentle and composed, its palette softened by age and subtle abrash. Circa 1900 - 1920. Dimensions: 6' 1" x 11' 7".
