An ivory ground hosts a restrained floral medallion and an allover composition of stylised sprays and palmettes, framed by a generous floral border in warm golds and browns. The surface shows medium wear and softened pile, lending the piece a tactile, worked-in patina that reads as lived history. A considered antique rug with subtle abrash and edge character, it conveys classic Kerman drawing and colour restraint. Circa 1915 - 1930.
