A Bakhtiari of considered scale, rendered in warm brown and gold tones with muted blues and olive accents. The field is organised into a regimented grid of garden panels, each containing stylised trees, boteh forms and small medallions, framed by a broad palmette border. Woven in wool, the surface shows low, even wear and gentle abrash that reads as patina rather than damage. The effect is tactile and quietly complex, a piece that retains the presence of its making and time. Circa 1920 - 1940. Measures 6' 8" x 10' 0" and reads clearly as an antique rug with restrained character.
