This Khotan runner presents paired circular medallions on a warm rust field, articulated with brown and neutral accents. Woven in wool, the surface shows low distress and an even, tactile pile with subtle abrash and restrained surface softening. Stepped geometric corners and repeated floral rosettes organize the composition, while a deep brown guard border gives measured contrast. The palette of rust red, deep brown and warm neutrals reads as quietly aged and textural, a modest but distinct example of handcraft. An antique rug that retains compositional clarity, it measures 4' 4" x 8' 0". Circa 1900 - 1930
