This Khotan presents a quietly weathered medallion in a soft neutral and brown palette, the field threaded with small rosette and geometric fillers. Warm, faded red accents animate the multiple guard borders while abrash creates subtle horizontal bands that read like decades of light and use. The wool pile has softened to a low, tactile surface with even wear and gentle edge fraying that emphasizes its age. Circa 1905 - 1935.
