A Kerman in wool with a restrained, antique palette of cream, white and soft blues. An attenuated central medallion sits amid a dense floral vine field, the composition held by scalloped spandrels and layered guard borders. The surface shows medium distress and gentle abrash that unify the colours into a watercolour-like wash; the borders are softened but legible. This antique rug reads as an object of lived craft, its patina and wear underscoring an older hand and disciplined design. Measurements: 7' 10" x 10' 4". Circa 1910 - 1930. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
