Khotan rug with a serene neutral field enlivened by three bold red medallions and smaller circular guls. The wool pile reads tactile and dense, the palette leaning toward warm rust, pink and gold accents set against a muted grey ground. Borders layer geometric meanders and small hooked motifs, their lines softened by light abrash. This antique rug retains good color saturation and displays low wear, letting the medallions remain the composition’s quiet focus. Circa 1900 - 1915. Measures 6' 2" x 11' 11". The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
