An elongated Hamadan runner in a muted neutral field and warm brown register, this antique rug carries a disciplined sequence of geometric medallions and stylised motifs. The cream ground and mellow border tones show softened abrash and medium wear that read as quiet age, giving the surface a tactile, settled hand. The 2' 8" x 9' 5" proportion emphasizes the vertical medallion procession and the measured border composition, where pattern and tone remain legible despite attrition. Circa 1910 - 1955, the piece has the reserve of an heirloom object, quietly patinated and materially expressive.
