A quiet Khotan in soft neutrals, handwoven in wool and softened by time. The field arranges stepped diamond medallions in repeating zigzag bands, filled with small floral rosettes and framed by several geometric guard borders. Surface abrash and even fading reveal a layered patina, while thoughtful patched repairs attest to long use and care. This antique rug measures 8' 7" x 16' 1" and reads as a tactile study in restraint and texture. Circa 1900 - 1930. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time. Subtle tonal variation keeps the drawing legible and grounded.
