Woven in wool, the pile remains supple with low distress; the geometry is direct and graphic while subtle abrash and gentle surface abrasion lend a lived-in patina. Stepped cross motifs and a lively guard border create a compact, rhythmic composition, the colours graduating with age rather than fading flat. Measurements are 6' 2" x 9' 4".
