A Ghom in wool, 3' 8" x 5' 0", defined by a serene salmon-brown field and a compact indigo medallion worked in dense floral arabesques. The field is framed by layered floral vine borders in muted blue and neutral brown, a restrained composition that reads as quietly architectural. Low distress preserves an even surface; subtle abrash and time-softened pigments give the weave a tactile, lived-in depth. Intact fringes and neat edgework complete the piece. This antique rug balances formal geometry with a warm, faded palette. Circa 1920 - 1935. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
