A compact Tibetan runner in wool, 2' 7" x 6' 0", composed around two restrained medallions set on a warm neutral field. The palette pairs soft cream and white with vibrant red highlights and dark outlining that reads almost graphic against the ground. A narrow inner border of geometric fretwork contains the field while a small repeating motif punctuates the outer margin. Low distress and an even pile preserve clarity and tactile presence; edges remain neat. This antique rug carries a mid-century Tibetan vocabulary in dense wool, quietly refined and materially present. Circa 1980 - 1995
