A narrow Kurdish runner worked in wool, its deep brown ground filled with a disciplined, repeating hooked medallion lattice punctuated by cream and white accents. Multiple narrow guard borders create a contained, rhythmic edge that reads as a continuous frieze along the length. The weave retains a soft, tactile pile with low distress and gentle abrash that emphasize the rug’s age and craft. This antique rug reads as quietly worn rather than heavily restored, the surface showing refined patina and restrained colour harmony. Circa 1880 - 1900. Measurements: 3' 2" x 13' 7".
