An elegantly faded Khotan woven in wool and finished to a soft, low pile. Measuring 6' 6" x 12' 10", the field reads as warm cream and beige with a subdued central medallion and scattered stylised floral and tree motifs. The geometric main border remains more defined against a ground softened by heavy wear and abrash. This antique rug retains a tactile, heritage feel; its worn surface layers reveal earlier tones and a measured design vocabulary that reads as calm and restrained. Circa 1900 - 1920. The softened surface retains a quiet, tactile character shaped by time.
