A spare, quietly monumental Khotan in a washed neutral palette. The field is punctuated by three aligned circular medallions and surrounded by layered guard borders of diagonal stripe and floral-geometric motifs. Woven in wool and softened by time, the surface reads as ivory, cream and pale blush with faint light-blue accents. The wear is consistent with medium distress, lending a supple patina and subtle abrash to the ground. This antique rug retains a serene, textile-lit presence across 8' 6" x 17' 2" while keeping an honest, well-aged character. Circa 1890 - 1910.
